Fresh from conducting the music at the Royal Wedding, CSO Music Director Christopher Warren-Green returned to the Queen City to lead the orchestra in an all-Scandinavian program that wraps up their 2010-2011 season. Fellow Brit Stephen Hough joins the orchestra to play Grieg’s Romantic standard. The orchestra shines as well as in Grieg’s music for the Ibsen drama Peer Gynt, and the evocative Symphony No. 2 by Finnish composer Jean Sibelius.
